Adapt ADHD a Gloucestershire based service. Rachael, Lianne and Sam are three professionals offering CBT therapy, ADHD coaching & our very own ADHD self help programmes. We also offer bespoke training and workshops for businesses.

Our story

Our little team have known each other for many years. Our passion to help people with ADHD was fuelled after Sam was diagnosed with ADHD several years ago. After diagnosis, we tried to understand more about ADHD and support available - we didn't know where to start and so little in the way of specific support. Unsure of which direction to go or who to ask we started to delve into ADHD ourselves!

At the time, Rachael was already working as a Cognitive Behavioural therapist in the NHS and Lianne was a trained coach working within education. We found out so much about ADHD, we also felt that our experiences within life/work meant that we wanted to develop a service to support others.

ADHD can be a chronic condition that impacts so many areas of a person's life. We have focused the support that we offer about the current guidance (including NICE guidance) and research. ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder that we know impacts our daily life and there executive function. You may find you require support to learn skills to attain your personal goals. We offer coaching and self help programmes related to various difficulties including problem solving, planning, time management and impulsivity.

We provide a 'Gold Standard' Service in line with guidance, our professional standards and code of ethics.

Rachael is a BABCP (British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists) Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. Special interest ADHD and CBT focused treatment.

Lianne is an EMCC accredited coach.

Sam is an ADHD mentor.

As a team, we are passionate about supporting people. We want to support you and your family to be able to feel seen, to learn ways to manage ADHD symptoms and realise you are 'enough'.

We have all worked in public services (NHS, education, Police) and our experience underpins our service. We are a team that believe in offering a service that is reliable, supportive, evidence based and empowering. We have a range of support options for both children and adults.
